Terms of Use
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Xingtai Xi’ao Electronic Science and Technology Co., Ltd. for the Yiji international edition. By using Yiji you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. Where Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies, these terms supplement it.
1. Accounts
Sign in with Apple or Google. Devices signed in with the same account share one account. Keep your account secure. Accounts of the international edition are separate from the mainland China edition and cannot be transferred between them.
2. What Yiji is
Yiji is a journaling tool that uses the traditional Chinese calendar as a cultural lens for reflection. Chart structures are calculated by fixed rules; AI readings are generated only after you confirm.
Nothing in Yiji is a prediction or guarantee about the future, and it is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice. Do not rely on it for important decisions, including about health, relationships, employment or money. Your daily ratings are your own; Yiji never chooses them for you.
3. Your content
You own what you create. You grant us a limited license to process it only as needed to provide the service; the license ends when you delete the content or your account.
Yiji’s software, design and text belong to us or our licensors. Do not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or redistribute them without permission.
4. Acceptable use
Do not:
- share chart readings about other people without their consent, or use them to mislead, harass or discriminate;
- enter someone’s birth details without their permission;
- create accounts or requests by automated means, or evade quotas and abuse protections;
- use Yiji for fraud, extortion or any unlawful purpose;
- interfere with the service, or access others’ accounts or data.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
5. Subscriptions
Yiji Pro is sold through the App Store and governed by the Subscription Terms and Apple’s terms. Paying does not change chart results.
6. Changes and termination
We may change, suspend or discontinue features for product, security, legal or force-majeure reasons and will give reasonable notice in the app or on this website. You may stop using Yiji and delete your account at any time.
7. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Yiji is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Minors
See section 9 of the Privacy Policy. Minors must have a parent’s or guardian’s permission to purchase a subscription.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. We will first try to resolve any dispute informally — please contact us.
10. General
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. We may update these terms and will post the new version here; if you continue to use Yiji after an update, the updated terms apply. Contact: support@jiazidiary.com.
